Field Officer Job Responsibilities
- Enrol eligible beneficiaries at designated public health clinics.
- Verify vaccination records and track scheduled immunisation visits.
- Educate caregivers on childhood immunisation and encourage clinic attendance.
- Maintain accurate enrolment, vaccination and programme records.
- Support community outreach and immunisation awareness activities.
- Track families who miss scheduled appointments and follow up appropriately.
- Monitor clinic supplies and report shortages or operational issues.
- Maintain working relationships with healthcare workers, community leaders and other local stakeholders.
- Conduct assigned surveys and submit field reports.
- Identify and report fraud, security concerns and other incidents.
- Follow organisational security policies and take responsibility for personal and team safety.

Field Officer Job Requirements and Qualifications
- SSCE, Diploma, CHEW or a related qualification.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience; NGO experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Fluent in Hausa and other relevant local dialects, both spoken and written.
- Must be an indigene of the relevant LGA and currently reside in the operational ward.
- Familiarity with Nigerian health facility documentation, infant health and routine immunisation.
- Experience collecting, analysing and reporting health data.
- Comfortable travelling by public transport to remote public health clinics.
- Proficient with smartphones, internet browsers, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle project funds responsibly and maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to work in a changing field environment and support communities.
